Accounts Assistant (interim, part time) – Rotherham – £22,000 - £24,000
Chase and Holland are working closely with a growing business who are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a 12-month contract to cover Maternity Cover. The role would be part time working 4 days a week 09.00-17.00. This role would work as part of a group of companies; a family run business.
Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:
* To provide an accounts administrative service that allows for its overall efficient and effective operation
* Assist in the timely production of accounts to Trial Balance
* Credit control duties
* Carry out Cash Book completion & Bank Reconciliations
* Maintenance of the Purchase and Sales Ledger
* Assist with project costing and maintaining cost records. Able to resolve queries both internally and externally regarding outstanding invoices.
* Assist the Finance Director in general accounts duties were necessary
Requirements:
* Experience of working within finance, ideally in as many of the above areas as possible
* Good communication skills
