Hours - 3 days per week 9am - 5pm or 4 days 10am - 3pm
Due to our clients growth, we are currently recruiting for a self motivated and highly organised Sales Support Administrator on a temp to perm basis to join a highly successful company based in Woolpit. You will be supporting the Director of Business Development from identifying leads up to the point of contract signature. The role may routinely act as the first point of contact for potential Clients and the initial coordinating point with the Director of Business Development, ensuring that all required weekly and monthly data, is recorded and provided in a timely manner to the appropriate appointments.
Responsibilities of Sales Support Administrator
* Respond to potential Client requests received via email or telephone or on the direction from the management chain
* Prepare ‘first draft’ technical and commercial sales proposals
* Populate the ‘Opportunity Tracker’ with data and details and provide analytics of company sales performance and output to the Weekly Activity Statement keeping it current and accurate
* Monitor EU and other tender bulletin notice boards and identify suitable opportunities for the company to exploit
* Timely follow up with Clients on outstanding enquiries, recording appropriate data and details into the opportunity tracker
* Populate the Client Relationship Management (CRM) data base with appropriate detail and data ensuring that this is kept current
* Implement and complete relevant documentation on won opportunities for handover to the Operations department for delivery of the project
* Undertake research on new and existing markets, identifying relevant projects, competitors, and relevant activities
* Prepare for and attend exhibitions
Skills required for Sales Support Administrator
* Suitable secondary qualifications preferably in literacy and numeracy-based subjects
* Ideally educated to degree level in a relevant subject
* Previous experience in sales and commercial activities is essential
* Good analytical skills
* Capacity to operate Windows and MAC software
* To produce sales spread sheets and graphical representations utilising Excel, Word, PowerPoint software
* The ability to work within a dynamic, fast paced commercial environment
* Demonstrate confidence in dealing with internal and external stakeholders/clients respectively
* Team player
* Have excellent organisational abilities
* Possess excellent communication skills, with high levels of self-motivation demonstrating a ‘can do’ positive attitude
