Office Angels have an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Office Administrator to join our client in South West Edinburgh. This is a permanent, part time role working 16 hours a week (flexibility on days). The office hours are Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm and there is a salary of £18,000 - £20,000 pro rata.

You would be supporting a small and friendly team of six and must be OK with an adorable office dog! The firm are experts in dispute resolution in the construction industry and due to the volume of work they now require a Part Time Office Administrator. This is a completely new role and will evolve over time however the ideal candidate will be an experienced administrator with excellent organisational skills as well as a proficient user in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel.

Duties and Tasks:

* Set up, organisation and maintenance of electronic and hard copy filing systems required for running of the business.

* Assisting with maintenance of diaries/diary commitments for members of the business.

* Assisting with compilation and copying and scanning of documentation either received or to be produced and issued by the business in the course of its activities.

* Answering telephones and making calls on behalf of the business as may be required.

* Taking notes of meetings and producing the same as required.

* Assisting with compilation and organisation of accounts information that the business requires for its operations.

* Liaison with suppliers, including but not limited to stationery and office supply providers, as may be required.

* Booking travel or meals or events required by the business for its operation.

Skills and Experience Required:

* Previous administration experience essential.

* Great organisational skills.

* Competency in Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Outlook etc).

* An adaptable and can do approach to work.

* A car would be preferable due to location, or bus network.
