Job Details
TPP is excited to be recruiting for a leading children's charity to recruit for a Philanthropy Manager. The position is homebased on a 12-month contract (to cover maternity leave) paying £24,000 to £33,301 plus a £500 home working allowance. The role is full-time, but part-time or condensed hours/flexi working can be considered.
In this role you will manage a warm portfolio of major donors in which some of them are the richest people in the country. Currently 84% of income is already pledged this year from these donors. You will ensure they receive high quality stewardship and are engaged with the work of the charity. Additionally, you will be expected to prospect for new donors and therefore build pipeline to increase the existing small but warm portfolio. You will work closely with internal stakeholders from other fundraising divisions such as events, community or corporate.
To be successful in this role you will be comfortable working towards targets and confident in making financial asks. You will have experience of working with High Net Worth Individuals either in the fundraising or commercial sector. You will have sound communication skills, written and oral, in order to enthuse existing and new donors. Finally, you will enjoy networking, meeting new people and getting out and about in the northwest and be passionate about child welfare.
