A Buckinghamshire based Local Authority is currently seeking an experienced Noise and Nuisance Consultant to assist their Environmental Health team with a particularly interesting project for an initial 3 month period.

About the Role:

The job will require you to deal with noise, nuisance complaints including smoke and odour and also undertake complex noise and nuisance assessments primarily related to planning and construction sites.

The contract is for an initial 3 months but due to the complex nature of the work is likely to roll on beyond this. There is some scope for flexible working i.e. flexi time, part time or home working. The rate is open to negotiation depending on experience but is realistically likely to be £25 to £30 an hour Umbrella.

About You:

A degree in Environmental Health or an Acoustic diploma equivalent is essential and at least 3 years of experience within Noise and Nuisance is preferred. Experience of noise and nuisance inspections within a planning/construction background would be beneficial.
