Custodian - Castell Coch. Temporary role until October 2019, £10.59, starting ASAP.
Your new company
You will be working within the Welsh Government's historic environment service working for an accessible and well-protected historic environment for Wales.
Your new role
You will be working as a Custodian on a part time, rota basis. You will be required to greet and service visitors, take admissions and assist in the onsite shop selling souvenirs. Responsibilities will include cash handling and balancing a float, you will also be responsible for checking the site each morning to ensure it is ready to accept visitors. As well as the above duties you will also be required to work some shifts in the Tea Rooms where you will supply customers with hot and cold beverages as well as some hot and cold snacks.
What you'll need to succeed
Excellent customer service skills are required for this role as you will be dealing with customers at all times. Experience of operating a till is desirable and the working knowledge of Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel are required. Experience of working within a hospitality environment is required and a Basic Level Food Hygiene certificate is desirable. You must be flexible around working hours as you may be asked to work additional hours and will also be required to work some weekends or bank holidays.
