Interaction Recruitment - Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be supporting this leading institution with the recruitment of an experienced Payroll Assistant on a straight permanent basis working 3-4 days per week.
This payroll assistant role will be based in a well-known accountancy practice and will consist of working within a small team, running multiple payrolls for a variety of clients who operate in a wide range of sectors.
This payroll position would suit an experienced payroll assistant who is looking to take the next steps in their career. The ideal candidate for this payroll assistant role will have the following skills and experience:
· Will have previous experience of payroll systems. Experience with the following programmes would be advantageous: Star payroll, Sage payroll, HMRC Basic Tools, BACS processing.
· Will have payroll administration experience and knowledge of payroll processing as well as up to date knowledge of payroll legislation, including HMRC regulations, is essential, as is a working knowledge of SSP, SMP, SPP and NI calculations.
· Should be ICT literate and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
· Will be self-motivated and able to work without supervision.
