Support Worker – Reablement Care
Shift Patterns: 6am-2.30pm & 3.30pm-11pm 5 days per week, over 7. Weekend work included.
Wage: £9.75 per hour
Contracts are available
We are looking for committed, hardworking, experienced Carers and Support Workers to join us in working in the Community to support people in their own homes.
Reablement work is an innovative approach to care, a new way of approaching care by actively promoting independence (whether that be task they do or integration back into society by signposting and working collaboratively with the council).
The assignments will be a maximum six-week programme with targets set and agreed. You will be helping to assist service users to achieve those targets through positive risk taking and encouragement. Reablement Care Workers are responsible for working to the plan set by the assessors and marking the service user routinely through the six weeks.
Reablement Workers will be contributing directly to the overall sustainability of the care market by reducing the overall need for care and helping integrate service users back into society, improving the overall welfare of those using the service whilst reducing their dependence on traditional home services.
You must be a driver, with access to your own vehicle and be able to work to the above shift patterns to be eligible for the role.
