A temporary ongoing position for an Estates Surveyor has arisen for the council in Bath.

The role can be either full time or part time, days to suit candidate.

This is a Property Management role requiring Landlord and Tenant experience and is NOT a general surveying role.

The purpose of the position is to assist in the provision of Property Services to the Council with an emphasis on Valuation. To take a high degree of personal responsibility for carrying out difficult and challenging tasks as an Estates Surveyor providing general practice Surveyor/Valuer duties.

Skills and Experience:

* Ability to work irregular hours and cope with the demands of work and workload.

* Commercial awareness. To be a good team worker. To priorities a heavy workload and meet deadlines.

* Some training and/or experience or ability to supervise and guide junior staff in providing services to specified quality, timescale and budget.

* Good valuation skills, good knowledge of LandT and Land Law.

* IT Skills

* Well-developed negotiating skills with a background in property management appropriate to the designated portfolio for this post.

* Qualified (RICS ) with relevant post qualification experience.
