The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Mission Systems Sea Trials team in the delivery of HMS Prince of Wales Sea Trials programme.
Working closely with the team you will be expected to;
* Arrange Medical appointment and Sea Survival Training for Sea Trials Team and maintain up to date records on completion
* Obtain and collate details of Sea Trials team as to who is at sea and when
* Assist in arranging travel and accommodation for Sea Trials team
* Be point of contact for Sea Trials team if their plans change and they require assistance
Responsibilities
* Keep up to date plan as to who is at sea and doing what role throughout Sea Trials to ensure cover is always available as required
* Assist in coordination of Test Form documentation to ensure completion in required timeframes to support Readiness for Sea
* Assist in production of Trials Readiness Reviews (TRR) check-lists through Excel and database management
* Provide on call support outside of office hours during sea trials to assist Sea Trials Team if required (on rota basis)
* Support Office logistics in the period leading up to Sea Trials ensuring meeting rooms and facilities are available to support TRR’s, Completion of Set to Work & Acceptance Events
* Assist in management of Sea Trials Leads diaries
* Other administration tasks as required
The Individual
Essential Skills:
* Microsoft Excel – High Standard
* Microsoft PowerPoint – High Standard
* Graphical Data – High Standard
* Effective Communicator
Working Hours:
* These roles are on a part time basis with a requirement to cover absences and the rota system
* On call weekend cover will be required which will be on a rota basis. Additional ad hoc out of hours work may be required
