Care Assistant & Companion, Edgbaston

£9.10 - £9.50 per hour

We are seeking part-time female Care Assistants & Companions living close to the Edgbaston area of the West Midlands. This job is commutable from the Harborne (10 mins), Moseley (20 mins) and surrounding areas of the West Midlands.It is essential you drive and have your own vehicle due to the nature of this role.

Your job will be to make a difference every day to an older person living in community by becoming their Care Assistant & Companion, assisting them with daily living tasks, including personal care or taking them out into the community to stay independent and doing the things they love.

You will be joining a growing and remarkable organisation who are committed to providing an incredibly high standard of care within comfortable and high-class surroundings. As their Care Assistant & Companion you will need to be the best of the best, immaculately dressed and passionate about what you do. You will have very high standards and be passionate about the difference you can make.

Rate of pay, Hours of Work and Requirements:

* 20 hours per week (with potential for more hours);

* Rate of pay is £9.10 (no experience) and salary increases with experience up to £9.50 per hour, your pay will progress as you progress;

* Attendance bonus of £35 per quarter (After 3 Months);

* Childcare vouchers;

* Full induction training;

* Vouchers towards completion of Care Certificate and QCF qualifications;

* Referral scheme;

* Their busy times are early mornings, lunchtimes, evenings and weekends.

Ideally, you will have experience in a domiciliary care background, but this is not essential. However, it is essential that you have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
