Catering Assistant  Pact is a highly respected independent charity, which together with its subsidiary, Pact Futures, works across England and Wales to develop and deliver a range of innovative services, providing practical and emotional support to prisoners’ children and families, to prisoners, and to ex-offenders.  Position: Casual Catering Worker  Location: HMP Coldingley, Woking (Commutable from Farnborough, Guildford, Bracknell & surrounding areas)  Job type: Part Time, Permanent  Hours: Casual from Monday to Sunday  Salary: £9 per hour  Benefits: Generous holiday entitlement, free advice & counselling service, eye care vouchers, cycle to work scheme plus more.  Closing date: 10th June 2019  Interviews commencing week beginning: 24th June 2019  About the role:  Have you got what it takes to support prisoners and their families?  As a casual Catering Worker at HMP Coldingley you will work as one of the Pact Family team based within the tea bar in the prison visits hall. You will be providing the catering service for families visiting the prison, processing food / drink orders on the till and cashing up at the end of the day.  About you:  To be successful in this role you will have demonstrable experience and understanding of working in a challenging multi-agency environment and / or a retail or catering environment.  You will also have excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a demanding work load.  You will be able to provide warm, human support and to ensure that children, families and prisoners are treated with respect, dignity and courtesy.  Other information:  This post is subject to a 6 month probationary period, verification of identity and proven right to work in the UK, satisfactory references from previous employers covering a 3 year period, declaration of any unspent criminal convictions (and where appropriate a satisfactory risk assessment), Prison Vetting and a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check.
