My Client based in Batley is looking for a Transport Administrator on a Temporary, part-time basis.

The purpose of this role is to perform administrative tasks to support the transport department.

Duties:

Provide admin support to Transport Manager and Transport team
Accurately check sub-contractor invoices against run sheets and purchase orders
Act as point of contact fielding calls from shop network and sub contractors logging service requirements
Accurately input data using established information systems/processes
Conciliate and check information using established information system processes
Provide cover for team members in their absence
To complete any other reasonable tasks when required

Candidate Requirements

Good verbal and written communication skills
Works accurately with attention to detail
Good standard of literacy and numeracy
Is a supportive team member
Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility in all aspects of working
Manages some aspects of own time and workload prioritisation
Good standard of general PC skills including Word, Excel and database
Experience in transport environment desirable but not essential

Hours of work are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 0830 – 1230 (4 hours, on 4 days).

An hourly rate of £9.00 will be offered to the successful candidate
