PART TIME ADMIN OFFICER
BROMLEY
MON & TUES, 9AM- 5PM
8 MONTH ASSIGNMENT
£11.48 HOURLY RATE
ASAP START
To provide Secretarial, administrative and specialist marketing support to all Public Health Programme leads and general support to staff within Public Health Directorate.
Main duties:
* To sort the post in order to identify items which require an urgent response and to initiate follow-up action
* To organise filing, including a day file system and manage bring-forward systems
* Handling telephone enquiries, calls relating to public health programmes
* Dealing with relevant correspondence by dictation
* Convening, preparing agendas, taking minutes at meetings for both internal and external organisations
* To maintain databases and/or spreadsheets as necessary
* To organise, manage and make appointments
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous secretarial/ Admin experience
* Experience of liaising with external agencies and professionals.
* Experience of dealing with senior health professionals
* Experience taking and handling calls from anxious members of the public
* Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
There is a possibility of extra working hours, however this would be on a Ad Hoc basis.
