An opportunity has arisen for a Highway Engineer with experience in Development Control / Management and Section 278/38 engineering to join our client in North West Wales.
Your main duties include assessing and evaluating planning applications and development proposals and raising any highway / transport issues that may arise. Other duties include liaison with external parties such as developers and stakeholders, highway design and traffic engineering.
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £20 – £30 per hour – negotiable for the right candidate and this position is deemed as inside IR35. We are open to both part time and full time hours however an office present is required.
Working within the Highways team your main duties include:
-Assessing and evaluating planning applications
-Making engineering comments in regards to highway and transport implications
-Liaising with external bodies such as developers, stakeholders and the public
-Highways design, traffic engineering and transport planning when necessary
