Job Details

Bring your bright and enthusiastic attitude to our Flow Business and help us grow our sales pipeline.

You will join our EMEA Operations Hub, based in Reading, and be primarily responsible for following up end-user customer introductions, whilst proactively making phone calls to discuss financing requirements, negotiating pricing and ultimately, closing the sale.

Using your exceptional organisational skills, you will work collaboratively with external sales to manage the pipeline, and work towards KPI’s and targets on a monthly basis. Your innate people skills will allow you to successfully act as an account manager for introducer relationships as well as ongoing business development and the provision of telephone-based sales support for the wider introducer network. In addition, you will also be the first point of contact for managing Risk declines and decision appeals, routinely prepare programme summaries and annual credit documentation reviews, and create and distribute management information on a monthly basis to introducers.

You will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, where tasks and priorities change regularly, and as an adaptable, self-motivated team player, you will naturally invest high levels of energy at work to achieve individual and team goals. With previous experience working in a corporate environment, you will be proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite, and your strong written and verbal communication skills will be underpinned by your high attention to detail. If you already have an understanding of asset finance products (MTR/FTR, Operating Leases, Hire Purchase, Finance Lease etc.), banking and pay-out procedures, that is a bonus.

If you’re ready to work within a challenging and rewarding team environment, then apply now.

Working at Macquarie

We believe in providing a positive environment for all our staff that is innovative and inspiring. For our female staff, Macquarie’s senior leaders are actively involved in increasing the representation of females in management positions.  In June 2014, we launched a mentoring programme for females, with the following two objectives:

  • Address female retention rates at Senior Manager level and improve our diverse pipeline of talent;
  • Engage female Senior Managers by providing tools and support around their personal development;

The programme pairs up Senior Managers with Directors, who meet on a monthly basis, and are supported by active group sessions (bi-monthly) with an external facilitator.

We select some of the brightest minds to help us in solving complex challenges for our clients.  We recognise that recruiting talent from varied backgrounds is essential to improving our understanding of the marketplace, and enhancing creativity and problem-solving capabilities in our businesses.

Because of this, our commitment to you is to create a diverse and inclusive workplace regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity or cultural background.

We make this commitment not only because it is the right thing to do but it opens up a world of opportunity, securing the future of our people, our success and our business
