We are looking for an experienced transactional or in-house lawyer to consult a legal technology company on a contract basis. Our firm with support from top Cambridge and Oxford researchers is building innovative solutions that help to analyse and draft complex matter contracts. You will review & prioritise product features, accept developed features and verify end-users needs.

Skills required:
1. Experience with drafting/ editing complex legal documents
2. Understanding full matter lifecycle including negotiation and closing
3. Managing complex transactions and large document bibles (for example in Infrastructure or Finance)
4. Experience with client facing, internal partner level and external CxO stakeholder management

Additional skills preferred:
1. Understanding inefficiencies of current analysis, drafting tools and processes
2. Regulatory and compliance knowledge in the chosen specialty
3. Experience in transactional environment at a large law firm or corporate in-house department
4. Experience in managing team and delegating technical work
5. Associate level, 3+ years PQE 
Your responsibilities: 
- review of product features
- provide insights into legal transaction workflow and associate-counsel level lawyer pain-points
- work with world's leading researchers in cognition, user experience and scientific visualisation and guide product development 

We are a small team of senior ex Man Investments/ Ashurst employees and Cambridge and Oxford researchers based in London. We are at an exciting stage of developing an analysis and drafting tool that will change the way corporate lawyers understand and draft complex legal documents. The founders of this company have built technology products before and have extensive experience working with end users in corporate and professional services firms and understand their needs.
