We are currently recruiting for an Administrator for a wonderful established company in the heart of St Albans.
It is a 12 month contract role with great possibility of it turning into a permanent post. The client will consider candidates who are seeking full time, but also those who are looking for shorter days (27.5hrs p/w, 5.5hrs per day)
Working in their Quality Team, you will be supporting and providing assistance to the Health and Safety Manager and the wider team, plus other relevant departments.
Key responsibilities:
* Support the H&S Manager in the delivery of health and safety across the company
* Organise and undertake administration for meetings associated with the Health and Safety and Quality Teams
* Assist with the preparation and administration of company policies and procedures
* Manage and keep up to date records associated with H&S Learning
* Administration of the complaints system, including responding to requests from public and others
* Liaise with relevant departments on matters relating to quality, and health and safety
* Assist with analysing and manipulating H&S data, using spreadsheets and relevant systems, running KPIs and other relevant reports
* Attend staff and supervision meetings, training and development sessions
* Ensure applications are processed efficiently and within required timescales
* To comply and keep up to date with data protection (GDPR) legislation
What the client is looking for:
* Proficient in the use of all MS Office packages, showing confidence in Word and Excel
* Excellent administrative skills
* Ability to manage workload and multitask in a busy, fast-paced environment
* Able to work effectively as part of a team and on own initiative
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Good prioritisation and organisational skills
