We are looking for an inspiring and passionate Account Manager, to lead a talented and dedicated Accounts Team to provide an excellent account management service to a portfolio of accounts. you will inspire them to deliver an exceptional service, achieving agreed business targets and developing excellent client relationships through our ways of working and behaviours.

About the role

You will be:

  • Leading a team to provide an effective account management service to a portfolio of accounts through the agreed Ways of Working model
  • Creating and overseeing the creation and achievement of annual account plans for the aligned account portfolio and to ensure the effective delivery of these through robust project management across the Accounts and Operational teams
  • Ensuring achievement of these agreed priorities through the management of a team of Key Account Managers and Engagement Officers and through liaison with the Senior Client Account Executive to secure appropriate support for campaigns and any associated activity
  • Accurately forecasting and then to deliver the budgeted number of quality starts and internal operational targets
  • Managing the performance and development of a remote team through effective coaching and robust performance management conversations including monthly 121s and bi annual performance reviews

About you

We are looking for:

  • Proven significant experience of operating in a senior account management role
  • Proven significant experience of business development across a portfolio of accounts
  • Proven experience of developing and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Proven experience of managing a team of staff at a mid-management level within a target driven environment
  • Proven significant experience of project management disciplines
  • Experience of working in high demand environments, to targets and tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
