Staff Nurse ( RMN / RNLD / RGN ) - Low Secure Psychiatric Hospital

Location: Glasgow, Lanarkshire

Salary: £23,000 - £32,000 per annum ( up to £16.40 per hour ) - negotiable depending on your experience

Bonus: £1,000 bonus for all nurses every year and there is an opportunity for every nurse to receive an additional £1,200 as a bonus if the hospital passes their annual inspection (which they tend to do)

Hours: Full Time and Part Time hours are available - you can choose depending on your preference (options of: 11.5 hours, 23 hours, 34.5 hours or 37.5 hours)

Shifts: Options of Days only (8am - 8.15pm) or Nights only (7.45pm - 8am) or Mixed shifts on a rotational basis - you can choose depending on your preference

Further Details : An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified or experienced RMN, RNLD or RGN to work within a very positive, friendly and supportive low secure psychiatric hospital in Glasgow. The hospital continually strives to live up to their excellent reputation. The Hospital has an excellent recent CQC rating. They have a very positive and supportive work environment with a brilliant long-standing team. The have a very low staff turnover and staff morale is very high. They are very big on staff development and training.

The hospital is split across two wards:

6 bedded female ward
15 bedded male ward

In the case of newly qualified nurses, the hospital offers a fantastic preceptorship programme. They have a good number of experienced staff to support and mentor newly qualified nurses.

The Hospital Manager has been managing the hospital since the hospital opened 10 years ago. They are highly-qualified in various areas of nursing, so is very keen to invest time into the training and development of all staff.

Shifts : The hospital can accommodate part-time or full-time hours and they can be flexible with shifts. They are happy to consider fixed shift patterns and they are happy to consider nurses who prefer working days only or nights only. Please state if you have any preferences on your hours and/or shift pattern in your application. Their shift pattern is 8am - 8.15pm (days) and 7.45pm - 8am (nights).

Location: The hospital is very easy to get to via car and via public transport. They have a bus stop right outside the hospital and the nearest train station is a 5 minute walk away. They also have free parking on site.
