We are working with a prestigious city-centre client to recruit a Receptionist to join a friendly and professional team. Working in the education sector the Receptionist's role will be to provide a professional and courteous welcome and service to all visitors and telephone calls, as well as a range of administrative support to the team. This is a great opportunity for a professional and team-orientated Receptionist to work in a busy, varied and rewarding role.
Please note the start date for this role will be September 2019, but the interview and selection process will take place in late June.
The role:
* To answer, log and transfer all incoming calls professionally and promptly, assisting with queries where appropriate.
* Maintaining a tidy and professional reception area, ensuring all visitors are welcomed and signed in.
* Managing and distributing all incoming post.
* To carry out routine and regular online data checks at specified times throughout the day.
* To provide administrative support to senior managers, the events and finance team.
* To manage the enquiries inbox account, handling any requests or forwarding to colleagues as appropriate.
Skills and experience:
* You will have previous Receptionist experience, with skills including handling calls as well as meeting and greeting.
* You will have a naturally warm and helpful manner, remaining calm and professional at all times.
* You will enjoy working as part of a team and be able to demonstrate good listening skills as well as basic administration skills.
* IT literate with good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
* A flexible attitude is essential as is the ability to re-prioritise tasks when urgent requirements arise..

We are recruiting 2 part time Receptionists who will effectively work in a job-share. The preferred work-pattern will be mornings or afternoons but other work patterns could be considered. There is also potential for one of these positions to be term-time only.
