PART TIME PAYROLL CLERK
WAKEFIELD
UP TO £22,000 PRO RATA

Get Recruited are currently supporting a reputable, family run Accountancy practise based in Wakefield, who are seeking a Payroll Assistant to join their team on a Part Time basis.
As the Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for running the weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll for a range of clients. This role would suit a dedicated individual who has previous payroll experience either from within practise or industry.

THE ROLE:
* Running weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll using SAGE payroll
* Bookkeeping duties including VAT return preparation on SAGE and EXCEL
* General administration duties including answering the phone, emails, etc
* Experience within Pension Auto-enrolment
* Monitor and report sickness and maternity payments
* Responding to any client queries in a professional manner
* Complete any ad hoc duties as required
THE PERSON:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience working within a Payroll / Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant role in either industry or practice
* Extremely organised and meticulous
* Ability to manage a heavy workload
* Used to working within a fast-paced environment
* Good knowledge of SAGE, SAGE payroll and EXCEL
* Can use all Microsoft Office systems
