AICS Group is looking for a Female Team Leader in Harrow to support a very young Child.
The AICS Group specialises in providing community-based rehabilitation and support to clients who suffered from a brain injury. Assisting with daily therapy led rehabilitation and daily living task.
We provide Rehabilitation Support to adults and children within the community or in rehabilitation settings. We are looking for people with excellent communication skills, motivation, initiative, flexibility and a genuine desire to support our service users to maximise their potential. This role provides immense job satisfaction within a busy and varied environment, working with a range of health and social care professionals.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Client met with a Road Traffic Accident- hit by a car and suffered Global Brain Injury, can't move, no communication, the hoist is in place. Support Worker should have experience in handling client needs.
The ideal Female Team Leader should have experience in brain injury, Peg feeding, Hoisting, Epilepsy, and personal care.
Female Team Leader should be able to give full support in regaining our clients physical and positive needs.
The ideal Female Team Leader should be able to work flexible Hours with our client:
24 Hours
Day Shift
20 hrs to 48 Hours per week
Ideal Team Leader should be a driver with access to their own vehicle to work with our client.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential Skills:
•Minimum 3 years of experience and/or training in care preferably in working with adults or children who have brain injuries, both cognitive and physical injury as a Team Leader
•An understanding of the needs of adults or children with cognitive and physical impairment
•Demonstrate ability to relate respectfully to people with physical disabilities
•Good verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to liaise with other professionals
•Ability to work autonomously and productively as part of a team
•The ability to relate to people from a wide variety of backgrounds
•Skills in communicating with tact and sensitivity
•The ability to remain calm under pressure
Desirable Skills:
•Current and clean drivers license
•Experience of providing care to people living in the community
•Minimum 3 Years of experience as a Team Leader
