Teacher of Year 4, Primary Teacher
Part time position (Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday)
September 2019
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Year 4 Primary Teacher to join this thriving and exciting school starting in September 2019.
You will experience a wealth of enthusiasm for learning and for supporting and helping each other and you will quickly feel the friendly and positive ethos in the academy from both the staff and the children. This is a culturally rich city school which has high aspirations for all of the children.
Since converting to an Academy the school has restructured its teaching team to provide smaller class sizes for many of their children, which enables a greater amount of quality first teaching to take place.
The school employ specialist teachers for Art, PE and Music to raise the quality of teaching and work produced, creating a sense of achievement and success for the children.
The school have just moved into their fabulous new state of the art building which has some impressive new learning spaces for the children including dedicated cookery and art rooms, a dance and music studio and two halls. The unique design includes large breakout work spaces which can be used flexibly for whole class or group activities and provide stimulating library and ICT stations. There are dedicated feature walls which will enable the school to celebrate the children's learning and display some of their artwork which has contributed to the gaining of the silver arts mark. Now the school hope to develop the grounds further to provide a sensory garden and outdoor music space, dedicated ball court, climbing and adventurous activities and outdoor wildlife learning area.
This is a pleasant place to work and we welcome applications who are focused on supporting children with their learning and those who are committed to move the learning forward.
NQTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply. Leadership opportunities are available for the right applicants.
