The best feeling in the world? Making a genuine difference to somebody’s life
Can you imagine a career in care where you spend a minimum of one hour with the people you support and often more? We have part time and full time opportunities available in West Norfolk, North and East Norfolk, Norwich and South Norfolk.
We’re looking for friendly, reliable people who are driven to provide the best quality of support to both children and adults. You will need to be experienced at working in a care setting, with a Health & Social Care qualification of L3 or above.
You must be prepared to have lots of fun in the workplace. Laugher is something you can expect to engage in for a large part of your working day.
We are a caring charity with rewarding opportunities for you to help people achieve their personal goals and remain independent for as long as possible. In return we offer great progression opportunities and regular, ongoing support, plus paid holiday and training and a company phone.
Here's what people have to say about working here:
Jane said, “I feel proud to be part of a team who are committed to providing the best possible support to families, doing small things that make a big difference to people in their own homes and out and about”
And Brendan said, “My work consists of helping older people with personal care, shopping, taking them on trips out, though mostly they enjoy having someone to chat to, keeping them company.”
Overall Purpose of the Job
To work with children and young people with disabilities and with adults in their own homes and out in the community, helping them to be as independent as possible and supporting them to achieve personal goals and positive outcomes.
As a Care Worker, you will provide high quality, individual support and assistance in a whole family approach. You will provide personal and social care that is compliant with CQC standards, respecting confidentiality at all times.
Our organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults and children and expects staff to share this committment. We are an equal opportunities employer.
If the above sounds like you and you think you fit the criteria, we would love to hear from you. Send us your CV today, or call Jen or Layla for a chat about the role
