Leisure Attendant 2a, fixed-term until 31 December 2019
Wester Hailes Education Centre
Salary: £16,287 - £18,316 (pro rata for part-time) plus living wage allowance if applicable, and additional working time payments depending on actual shift patterns worked.
Post 1 Full time - 36 hours per week, includes shifts and weekend working
Post 2 Part-time - 15.75 hours per week
Monday/Tuesday evenings 1730 - 2130 and alternate Saturday/Sunday 0830 - 1700
Post 3 Part-time - 15.75 hours per week
Monday and Wednesday evenings 1730 - 2130 and alternate Saturday/Sunday 0830 - 1700
Applicants must hold a current lifesaving or life-guarding qualification (NPLQ)

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
The City of Edinburgh Council applies a Living Wage allowance to ensure that all employees earn at least £9.07 per hour. Successful applicants will be paid the hourly rate as advertised, plus the allowance, in order to bring their earnings to £9.07 per hour.
