Part-time Purchasing Specialist - Supply Chain  - Chertsey, Surrey £14.00phr - £16.00 phr + bonus + benefits - 25hrs min per week. Flexible on days/hours (Permanent part-time role) Good Railway networks and parking.

Responsibilities of the Part-time Purchasing Specialist - Supply Chain role:

  • Purchasing is the main linchpin to the smooth and successful running of the business. Ordering the right volume to arrive at the correct time is crucial to help continued growth. 
  • Critical purchase ordering within agreed timescales
  • Organising collections with logistical partners
  • Accountable for forecasting of base, promotional and product launch volumes
  • Shelf life and end of life management to meet agreed KPIs
  • Key coordination with sales team, suppliers and logistics partners
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of business processes
  • Monthly KPI reporting
  • Retailer engagement

Skills & Experience required for the Part-time Purchasing Specialist - Supply Chain role:

  • Hands on role, fast paced working environment
  • Highly organised and ability to problem solve & Multi task
  • Effective communicator with an ability to engage internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work to tight deadline and under pressure 
  • Knowledge of supply chain and demand planning.
  • Competent in the use of MS Excel (formulas, pivots, etc.
  • Have strong numerical skills, ability to work accurately with data
  • Effective team-worker - understanding and responding to the needs of others
  • Degree educated or equivalent
  • Additional language desirable (Polish would be an advantage but not essential)
