We are currently looking for an ambitious Assistant Project Manager to join our driven and forward thinking North Region team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced construction sector professional seeking to advance their career in an expanding business.

Reporting to a Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the management, delivery and internal reporting functions for the teams involved in externally contracted projects and joint venture projects, ensuring a focussed approach to establish excellence in quality and customer satisfaction and meeting company objectives.

You will be delivering results through your attention to detail to ensure the department’s projects proceed against the business plan. Your ability to see things rapidly taking into account the financial and commercial context will be essential.  

We are looking for an ambitious and talented individual who is keen to learn and develop within an innovative team.  We are particularly keen to see candidates who have experience of working in a project management environment and are studying for RICS, CIOB or other project management qualifications. Through mentoring and one to one training this is an opportunity to further develop these skills and progress your career in the built environment.

Essential experience and skills:

  • Project management skills
  • Delivery focused, able to identify risks and effective solutions with minimal supervision
  • Good organisational skills, able to demonstrate highest levels of time management against back drop of a demanding project management environment
  • Financially & Commercially astute
  • Able to demonstrate logical thinking and problem solving
