Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Mirfield & Dewsbury
Role Overview:-
Voyage Care are currently recruiting for Support Workers to work in the Mirfield & Dewsbury areas. As a Support Worker you would be supporting individuals with autism and learning disabilities to do a range of different tasks and activities. This could include going swimming, to the cinema, shopping, baking, attending discos, going for meals, supporting with personal care, finances and attending health appointments. This is a really exciting opportunity that offers full or part time hours with flexible shift patterns during mornings, afternoons and evenings and we will try to work around your current commitments.
Requirements:-
Your duties will also include:
- Helping the people we support to learn new skills.
- Assisting with day to day living tasks.
- Ensuring the people we support are encouraged to reach their full potential.
- Supporting our clients to live as independently as possible.
- Providing personal care.
- Moving and handling needs
- Support with medication and complex clinical needs.
- Companionship.
- Support to access activities and socialise with others.
