Granton Primary is a growing school in an area of multi-deprivation. We benefit from both Pupil Equity Funding and a Positive Action allocation.

We have a supportive Parent council and have developed good links with the community.

The Senior Leadership team consists of a Head Teacher, two Depute Head Teachers, a Principal Teacher and a part time Business Manager.

We operate a 60/60 nursery with a staff team of one Senior Early Years Intervention Officer, one Early Years Officer, seven Early Years Practitioners and two Early Years Assistants. The staff are looking forward to a new two storey nursery building opening in 2020. Please be aware that the new nursery will be open during the school holidays and therefore staff will be expected to work during these holidays as of August 2020.
