Part-Time Qualified HR Manager

Role

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an individual to take on the role of Part-time HR Manager for their rapidly growing manufacturing company. You would be responsible for all aspects of HR and recruitment, working out of their newly acquired head-office based in Coventry, supporting management across all areas of the business.

Looking for qualified HR professional with wide ranging experience across all disciplines of HR to include ER & recruitment.

Job Scope and dimensions

·Reports directly to the Finance Director

·Part time role working 22.5 – 25 hours per week. This can be done over 3 – 5 days.

Principle Accountabilities

·Providing management with HR advice & support with regard to disciplinary, grievance, maternity, sickness, absence etc

·Taking the lead on employee relations cases, conducting meetings & investigations, up to tribunal if necessary

·Supporting managers in the recruitment process to include developing job descriptions, person specifications, preparing job adverts, shortlisting, interviewing & selecting candidates

·Developing & implementing policies on issues such as performance management, induction, disciplinary procedures & absence management

·Ensure all policies and processes are up-to-date and in line with current legislation

·Provide training where necessary on HR issues & performance management

·General HR administration

·Any other related duties as required by the finance director and other senior management

Qualifications/Experience

·CIPD qualified with 8+ years’ experience in HR

·Strong HR track record with proven policy management, recruitment & selection, change management & organisation development success

·Solid knowledge of UK employment law and good practice

·Influencer with excellent interpersonal skills

·Enthusiastic and self-motivating

·Computer literate with skills in excel, word & powerpoint
