Aspire Sussex have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our Student Services team, based in Burgess Hill. This is a part time opportunity for 18 hours per week and is offered on a temporary basis until 31st December 2019. The required hours are as follows:

  • Monday – 9am to 5pm
  • Tuesday – 9am to 5pm
  • Wednesday – 9am to 12pm

Aspire’s rates of pay are currently under review and the agreed pay award for this year will be effective from 1st August 2019.

The Administrator Role

The successful candidate will work within a team of administrative staff to support the delivery and development of a high quality adult education programme. Responsibilities will include providing excellent customer service, processing enrolments and ensuring that appropriate and accurate records are kept.

Our Ideal Administrator

Applicants will need strong communication, interpersonal and IT skills, including Excel and Word and previous administrative experience. Candidates should also have 5 GCSEs or equivalent qualifications to include Maths, English and IT at a minimum of Level 2.

As we run evening, daytime and weekend courses, the post holder may be required to work occasional evenings and Saturdays. Additionally, some flexibility may be required to cover other hours during busy periods and travel to other Aspire sites across West Sussex may on occasion be required.
