A new 12 month fixed term contract opportunity has arisen for a skilled part time Finance Officer to work with a busy organisation in Ipswich Town Centre.

Duties:

• Take full charge of day to day bookkeeping and reporting duties using Sage, to include sales ledger invoicing for events, credit control, purchase ledger processing & payments.
• Prepare and post general ledger journals.
• Payroll data compilation for external payroll processing.
• Ensure that recording of income and expenditure, bank reconciliation and payment of invoices
• Manage cashflow, using online banking facilities to move funds between accounts as required.
• Produce quarterly VAT returns

This is a newly created position, working in a team, which is offering a long term contract and would suit somebody with good all round bookkeeping skills.

The business our open to the successful applicate to work either 5 short days a week or 3 full days a week.
