We’re looking for talented Social Workers to join our Social Care department.
If you apply for one of these roles and you’re successful, you’ll be part of an experienced team, with daily access to seniors and managers – getting the support you need, and making a difference to children, young people and families across Wrexham County Borough.
In return, our proven career development framework will help you realise your career goals – whether that means progressing to Level 4, a management role, or specialising as a consultant.
You’ll also get access to a good pension scheme, generous leave allowance and flexible working.
The fact is, we believe in looking after our social workers.
What does it take?
To be the right person for one of these roles, you’ll need to have excellent communication skills, experience working in a team, and a proven track record supporting children and young people.
You’ll also need to understand and work within statutory guidelines, policies and standards such the Children Act 1989 and 2004, and the Social Services and Well-being Act 2014.
You’ll need to be a registered social worker, or due to qualify in 2019.
But most of all, you’ll need to be passionate about what you do.
