Sales Ledger Administrator
Location: Paisley
Contract type: Fixed-term until 31st of January 2020
Hours per week: 17.5, 3.5 hours Monday to Friday
Salary: GBP 17,137 pro-rata per annum (GBP 9.41 per hour)

We are seeking an organised and methodical Sales Ledger Administrator to join our finance operations team in Paisley on a part time basis.

As Sales Ledger Administrator you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a complete and accurate database of customer account details and transactions of customers to whom the Red Cross Society has provided services, and will subsequently assist with the invoicing and debt collection process.

Your daily duties will include running report of invoices and credits raised, and carrying out reconciliations of both customers and transactional data.

You will work closely with all other colleagues within the team to ensure the achievement of the overall results, deadlines and performance criteria expected of the sales ledger/credit control team.

About the team

This position works within the Invoiced Income Team at the Shared Service Centre and reports to the Invoiced Income Supervisor. Over the past few years the Shared Service Centre (SSC) has increased the services it provides to the organisation to improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the organisation's operations. The range of business functions managed and delivered from the centre is extensive and covers Financial Services, Systems support, Payroll, HR information management, Fundraising appeals administration, Training and Property support services.

About the person

You will have advanced knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and database packages, and a general understanding of how an Accounts Receivable function works.

You will also have experience with accounting systems, preferably Agresso and Peoplesoft.

If you are able to manage your own workload with little supervision, have strong communication skills, and the ability to work to tight deadlines, we would love to hear from you.
