We are currently seeking support workers to join our team in Rushmere, Ipswich - The Service is near to Ipswich Hospital and has lots of transport links.

We have a range of positions from part-time to full-time.

You will be supporting six individuals that live within a six bedroom bungalow. They have all known each other for many years and have built close friendships. They are an active bunch and enjoy swimming; cycling; and zumba; to name a few. They would love it if you could get involved too!

Each individual has varying needs so you will need to be flexible in order to support them. You will be supporting with daily living activities; budgeting; household duties such as cleaning; and to prepare and cook healthy meals.

The people you will be supporting are avid animal lovers and have a cat and an outdoor pond with lots of fish! they also enjoy feeding wild birds. You will need to share their love for the animals and be able to support them in caring for them.

Flexibility is a must as you will need to be available to work across various shifts to include; days, evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.

The general shift patterns are:- 7.30 am - 3 pm , 7.30 am -5 pm & 3 pm - 9.30 pm (Mon - Fri) Weekends 8.00 am -3 pm or 3 pm - 9.30 pm - There is also one split shift per week - 7.30 am - 9.30 am

Then coming back to the service at 3 pm - 9 pm, this particular shift would be a maximum of 1 per week.

To enable the individuals to access the community; drivers are preferred, but are not an essential requirement for this post.
