The Role
Please note: Due to the nature of the shift patterns this role is open to candidates over 18 years old only.
As a key member of the House of Commons Service Delivery team pro-actively ensuring an excellent reception and accommodation service to Members of Parliament, their staff, staff of the House of Commons and visitors to the House is delivered.
You will be liaising with the maintenance and estates teams and other across the estates plan and manage projects that impact on user of the Commons estate. To use a coaching approach to support your team to actively develop and maintain a thorough and up-to-date working knowledge of the House Services. You will be required to be part of a rota system designed to meet the needs of the business. You will be provided with a uniform.
The Person
The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:
- The ability to coach, support, and motivate an operational team to enable team members to develop.
- Excellent inter-personal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly. Ability to respond quickly and within agreed service levels and ensure customers are kept updated on progress and are satisfied with the service they have received.
- Able to organise, plans and prioritise your own time, completing tasks to agreed standards and timescales, with little or no supervision in line with service level agreement
- GCSE’s in English and Math at Grade A* or 9 to D or 3 or Equivalent
