Willmott Dixon is looking to recruit a Resourcer to join the existing In-house Recruitment team. The role will be based in our Head office in Letchworth, Hertfordshire but you will be required to travel to London and other UK based offices on occasions. Willmott Dixon support flexible working and are open to considering the right candidate on either a full time or part time hours basis.

The In-House Resourcer role is an exciting new role with a remit to find and attract high quality candidates in line with Willmott Dixon's growth and succession plans. You will be a trusted advisor to our team of In-house Recruiters and will support in delivering a quality recruitment service to all of our business areas.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working in partnership with In house recruiters to service live vacancies within Willmott Dixon.
  • You will be responsible for marketing vacancies to maximise the attraction of direct applicants utilising all appropriate channels including company websites, job boards, referrals, LinkedIn and other social media.
  • You will help the In House recruitment team maintain cost control and efficiencies to work within budget through maximising referrals and direct applications to all vacancies
  • Undertake local market analysis, benchmarking and candidate profiling and where appropriate use headhunting techniques to identify and recruit appropriate people.

Day- to- day duties include;

  • Candidate Management
  • Database cleansing; ensuring the internal data base is accurate and up to date
  • Innovative advertising and campaigns on job boards and social media as well as conducting regular searches for suitable candidates.

Essential and Desirable Criteria

Essential criteria:

  • Previous candidate management and attraction experience, ideally drawn from working for a recruitment agency or in-house.
  • Proven focused approach and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office including Excel.
  • Able to work in a team and cope under a pressure in a deadline driven environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desirable criteria:

  • Experience of resourcing or recruitment within the Construction industry.
  • Previous use of LinkedIn and other social media channels as a resourcing tool.
  • Experience of using an applicant tracking system.
  • Organised and able to prioritise
