Would you like to work at some of the most prestigious events and venues in the West of Scotland?
G4S Events is Europe’s leading independent provider of event security and crowd management services.
We are currently looking to increase our Kilmarnock Events Team where you will not only be covering Killmarnock's Rugby Park stadium and Ayr Racecourse, but will also have the opportunity to work at exciting venues such as The SEC, SSE Hydro, Hampden Stadium, Murrayfield Stadium, Scotstoun and other Scottish Premier League football venues.
Upcoming one off events include Pink at Hampden, the Spice Girls at Murrayfield, the TRNSMT Festival featuring Snow Patrol, George Ezra, Catfish & the Bottlemen and the Summer Sessions across Glasgow featuring The Cure, Foo Fighters, The 1975 & Edinburgh featuring Florence and the Machine, Primal Scream, Chvches, James, Courteeners, Madness.
Transport will be provided if you are working out with Glasgow.
You will be working as part of an enthusiastic team that helps to keep these venues and events safe and secure throughout Glasgow and across UK. This is an opportunity to build on skills and experience such as customer service, communication, health & safety, team work, problem solving and many others.
There is also plenty scope for progression through other routes, these include, SIA training with G4S, training and development towards becoming a Supervisor, joining the recruitment team and applying for the occasional full and part time vacancies within the office that become available.
Unlike many other stewarding companies, we offer a wide range of staff benefits including:
28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays), company sick pay scheme, Contributory Pension Scheme, Contributory Healthcare Scheme and others.
The fundamental role of a Steward is to ensure all patrons have a safe and enjoyable experience. Events and Stewarding staff are often the first and last people visitors will meet at an event. Therefore the role of a Steward is primarily customer facing and includes, but is not limited to:
* Providing the ultimate customer care experience
* Checking Tickets
* Dealing with patrons queries and questions
* Crowd monitoring
* Helping people to their seats and providing general directions
* Hospitality, car parking and other general stewarding duties
Our staff provide a visible reminder that safety is our number one priority for visitors and staff at an event
