Simply Education are looking for a part time SENCo and Year 5/6 Class Teacher to work in a lovely, 2-form entry primary school in Thetford. This role would start in September and is initially for 1 term, however there is potential for an extension or to go permanent for the right candidate. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join a welcoming and supportive school as they continue on their journey of transformation.
The ideal candidate will be approachable, flexible and organised, who can work well in a team and independently. You must be a creative practitioner with a strong classroom presence who can motivate and engage students. A SENCo qualification and/or previous experience in a SENCo role is desirable.

As the successful Teacher you will need to;
- Be a newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) or have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of education.
- SENCo qualification or experience
- Have the ability and experience of Primary teaching
- Have strong classroom management skills.
- Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and a creative approach is necessary.
- Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team.
