We are currently recruiting for a part time Administrator/Receptionist for a wonderful established company in the heart of St Albans.
This is a 12 month contract role with great possibility of it turning into a permanent post.
You will provide a professional, confidential and comprehensive administrative support to the Development team and full customer service support on reception. This is a fixed term, part time role, 14 hours per week: three half days a week in development, in addition to a half day on reception. You will be required to work a full day on Fridays.
Salary – take home approx. £7.5k per annum (just under £20k pro rata)
Key responsibilities:
* Responsible for setting up new and developing existing administration processes, systems and co-ordinating the dissemination of information
* Create and maintain accurate database records
* Coordinate meetings, take minutes and arrange catering and staff travel
* Prepare, issue and record tender documentation and bid applications
* Coordinate and record payments for goods and services
* Implement and monitor requirements to comply with the terms of GDPR
* Liaise with internal colleagues and external agencies
* Provide full customer service and administration on reception, providing an efficient switchboard / working reception service
* To support the team, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the reception area and the Post Room following guidelines and procedures
* To deal with incoming/outgoing post, packages and all postal deliveries from Reception to/from the relevant department
