Staff Work PerksWe are looking to recruit Part Time Administrator in Salisbury. This post will primarily work with the Development & Fundraising Manager and contribute to the fundraising and events activities in order to help fund the Alabaré's services. They will specifically work on with the team on events, schools, corporate and military fundraising activities where there is an administration need.

We have a 22.5 hour contract available. The hourly rate is £9.09 ph, rising to £9.32 ph after successful probation review. 10% enhancement is paid for unsociable waking hours from 11 pm to 7 am.

Main responsibilities include:

Administer the team's financial income and expenditure using the charity's Customer Relationship Management database
Undertake administrative duties to support the Fundraising Team such as filing, photocopying and printing of materials to ensure efficiency of work
Collate and send out of fundraising packs for events, school, military and church fundraising activity
Call, follow up and write to key contacts as required by the Fundraising Team
Support the Event Manager in researching, planning, developing and delivering the event fundraising plan
Attend and contribute to planning sessions for general Fundraising and Marketing
Attend Alabaré fundraising activities and events from time to time (some outside of normal working hours)
Work with Marketing to provide data and gain reports on fundraising activity analysisAdministrator | Admin | Fundraising | Administration | Care | Charity

Essential Skills

Experience in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to communicate effectively - both in writing and verbally together with an excellent telephone manner
Organisational and time management skills
Happy to seek help when stuck
Eye for detail
Has initiative and enjoys coming up with creative ideas
Ability to work in a small team and be a team player
Confident, positive, outlook with a can-do attitude
High energy initiative and motivated to succeed and learn
Interested in fund raising
GCSE grades A*-C in English and MathematicsAll staff are required to be flexible in their approach and willingness to get involved in other issues where necessary

Desirable Skills

Experience of working with Care Leavers

Good working knowledge of the welfare benefits system

Experience and knowledge of key working systems

Experience of involving service users in improving services

Experience and knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and related issues
