Your new school
This consistently Outstanding school are looking for an English teacher to join their successful department, to help them improve upon their overall Progress 8 score of over 0.10.

Your new role
The successful candidate would be part of a successful and creative Department and will have opportunities to teach students from Year 7 upwards and students with SEND or on bespoke curriculum pathways. The school are currently evolving their Key Stage 3 courses and Literacy development across the whole school.

The English Faculty has exceeded national targets for English for the past 2 years and continues to be one of the most successful at the Academy. It is led by an inspiring Head of Faculty who is an SLE, serving North Wiltshire and beyond. The successful candidate must have a tenacious drive to achieve the very best for their students and the Academy.

What you'll need to succeed
have superb subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English and working with Key Stage 3, GCSE and A-Level students. You will be an English teacher with QTS / QTLS / NQT, and an enthusiasm to teach challenging courses in a creative and imaginative manner. A real understanding of the subject area and passionate commitment to students' academic progress and personal growth are desired. You will also need strong classroom management skills and the drive to achieve academic excellence whilst emphasising the school's ethos and core values.
