The role

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is looking to work and develop within a forward thinking and innovative team - becoming part of our Management Information and Systems function, you will have the opportunity to expand your skills and experience within Excel, SQL, Power BI and other reporting software.

The ideal candidate will be an inquisitive individual with an interest in developing their existing skill set and learning new skills. As the Junior Data Analyst, you will have the chance to work in a small team, within a wider Shared Services department, with the opportunity for personal growth in a professional environment. This position has responsibility for maintaining and issuing agreed reports to measure and support business performance in key areas and agreed service levels. Your output will influence key decisions and drive efficiencies across the business.

The purpose of this role is to extract, analyse and deliver Data to the wider business, whilst helping maintain the Shared Service systems used by Amey. The role will form part of a team that produces both regular and ad-hoc data and management information for senior management and other stakeholders. The chosen candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing the companies Power BI platform - this will involve obtaining, visualising and analysing new data sources, working closely with senior stakeholders to implement changes, improving existing reporting and maintaining row level security.

Training can be provided for the right candidate. Opportunities to cross-skill across the different sections of the wider team will also be available
