Vital Human Resources Ltd, (now part of the Morson Group) and one of the leading Engineering recruitment companies in the UK, are looking for a Business Support Administrator within the Procurement department.

We are looking for bright, driven individuals with a desire to make a difference and contribute to the continuing growth of this successful business.

What you will need:

·Previous experience in a busy office (previous experience of working within a purchasing environment would be an advantage, but not essential)

·Excellent general admin skills and a really good eye for detail.

·IT literate to a good level (Word & Excel especially)

·Excellent communication skills

·Good strong administration skills

·Hardworking and conscientious

·Reliable and professional in your attitude and approach to work

·Able to work on your own initiative and to take responsibility for your own workload

·Confidence with the ability to work well under pressure

The role:

¨Define and administer purchasing processes as per company policy.

¨Assist in the day to day running of the Procurement Department.

¨Purchase required plant hire, materials and other resources.

¨Operate the purchasing software package, ensuring all details are correctly and quickly input, and the process is fully completed.

¨Liaise with the Safety Department and Branches regarding PPE.

¨Co-ordinate the Drug and Alcohol medical screening process

¨Co-ordinate the procurement of identified training.

¨Administer the hotel booking requirements for the Company.

¨Maintain an effective and efficient administration system within the department.

¨Ensure all files are up to date and stored in the appropriate section

¨Scan aged documents to archive file.

Full training will be given internally on system/internal processes.
