Business Development Consultant | Norwich | Basic salary up to £18,500 plus commissions & benefits | Full or part time

We are partnered with an established and supportive family business in Norwich, who are looking for a true lover of telesales to join the team as a Business Development Consultant. The basic salary will pay up to £18,500pa and there is commission payable on appointments made, new accounts established and the reactivation of dormant customers - plus other employee benefits too.

This job is open on either a full or part time basis (minimum of 3 days per week) Monday to Friday.

The purpose of this telesales job is promoting the company’s product portfolio, whilst generating internal sales turnover and offering field sales support in the form of direct marketing and qualified lead/appointment generation, with an overall goal to increase sales revenue of the business.

The ideal candidate will bring skills and experience to the business. We are looking for someone who is ambitious, dynamic, well presented and confident in their telesales skills.

Day-to-day activities will include:

Contacting new and existing customers to inform them about new and existing products and services.
Generation of qualified leads for field sales staff.
Informing customers about product promotions.
Collate and report on marketing intelligence on competitors.
General Field Sales support in geographic areas
Ensuring Sales Targets are reached.
To attend meetings, exhibitions, shows, courses.
Promote a strong supportive working relationship with staff and suppliers, based on family values and trust.
Ensure that goodwill and relations are maintained with customers & suppliers.
