Supported internal Training ProvisionRole Responsibility of a Kitchen Assistant
The purpose of the role of Kitchen Assistant is to assist with the preparation of meals, drinks and snacks for residents within the guidelines given by the Registered Care Home Manager and the Cook. To maintain cooking and cleaning regimes (daily, weekly, periodically etc) for all areas of the kitchen in line with the Health and Safety and Company guidelines to ensure safe working practice within the Home.
What an Excellent Kitchen Assistant Looks Like
You must have:
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
Excellent communication skills
Flexible in approach
Demonstrate ability to be a team player.
Basic IT skills
