FULL AND PART TIME SUPPORT WORKERS / CARERS REQUIRED

Rate of Pay: £10.50 per hour

Full time = waking nights only

Part time = a mix of day / night shifts

We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker / Carer to join a specialist care team.

You will be supporting a gentleman who has a Spinal Cord Injury and lives in his own home in Penzance.

The Role:

Provide all aspects of personal care and Spinal Cord Injury care
Support in attending appointments and therapies
Support in social activities
Assist with domestic tasks, food preparation and pet careAbout you:

The right candidates will be caring, tactile, flexible and reliable; with a good sense of humour and a get up and go attitude.
Please note that this is a non-smoking environment
You must be tolerant of dogs, and comfortable to be around them
If you have a passion to move in to care work, but are without experience; then please get in touch. We will provide you with full, specialist training and therefore previous care experience is not essential for this role.Shift Pattern:

Full Time Position; working 12 hour waking night shifts (Apply online only)
Part Time Position; 24 hours per week working a combination of 12 hour days shift (Apply online only) and 12 hour waking night shifts (Apply online only)
Induction training takes place during the day and you must be able to attend this
You will be working within a small team providing care and support all year round, including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.THIS IS NOT AN AGENCY JOB - IT IS A PERMANENT POSITION WORKING FOR A RESPECTED AND SPECIALIST CARE PROVIDER.

Working in 1 location - the gentleman's own home (no travelling between clients)
