We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills to join a leading charity, as Marketing and Communications Officer.
Position: Marketing and Communications Officer
Location: Stanmore
Hours: 35 hours a week, with occasional evening/weekend work – flexible working options available.
Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 depending on experience
Contract: Permanent

The Role
Our client is looking for a Marketing and Communications Officer to join their busy team, responsible for overseeing their Channel Swim social media channels, handling all supporter communications administration for the website, writing emails and blogs, overseeing PR and supporting fundraisers.
The Marketing and Communications Officer will also have responsibility for raising awareness of the charity and its events and supporting fundraisers by identifying media opportunities, ensuring case studies are written, reviewing and updating the website and producing creative and engaging content.
About You
As Marketing and Communications Officer you will have the ability to build strong relationships within the organisation as well as with supporters, fundraisers and service users.
You will be able to demonstrate a full understanding of the organisation, the services which it provides to spinal cord injured people and the fundraising streams it uses to provide the funding for its services. Ideally applicants will also have experience of working with a charity, have taken part in charity events and have knowledge of fundraising.
