These are exciting times for WaterAid, including for those in finance. At the mid-point of our 2015-2021 Global Strategy we are evolving the shape of the finance leadership and structure to best support the next phase of growth.
Key business change projects are underway to improve financial controls, planning and management reporting across the membership of WaterAid, involving systems, processes and people projects. This role will play a key role in delivering these improvements.

This is full time, 18 months fixed term role.

Job Description

In this role, you will focus on:

  • Global financial planning and reporting
  • Global Finance Executive (GFE) support
  • Member support
  • WaterAid international (WAi) finance support

To be successful, you'll need:

  • Professional accounting qualification (CCAB or CIMA);
  • Experience in planning, budgeting and forecasting;
  • Demonstrable ability to prioritise and co-ordinate across multiple tasks;
  • Experience of working in a strategic support capacity with multiple stakeholders;
  • Experience of developing finance capacity and capability;
  • Experience in problem solving across teams, organisations and countries in an international/multi-cultural organisation;

WaterAid is currently located at Durham Street, Vauxhall. However, we will be leaving our current location in the summer of 2020. The new location is to be confirmed but will be within zone 1-2 in London. The recruiting line manager will discuss this with you at the interview stage.

Salary: £52,000 - £55,000 with excellent benefits
